The toppers name will not be disclosed this year. In a major step, the Tamil Nadu Board decided not to announce the names of rank holders as the education department believes that this pave to unhealthy competition among students. âCBSE is already following this, and why because other students who get even one mark less (than the rank holders) face severe stress. The practice of announcing the first three rank holders at the state and district level is being done away with,â School Education Minister KA Sengottaiyan was quoted in an earlier report.
