SSC Recruitment Exam 2018: Application Begins for 1,000 Job Vacancies; Apply Online at ssc.nic.in, ssconline.nic.in
The SSC recruitment exam will be conducted for a total of 130 different categories through the various regional offices which have over 1,000 vacant posts.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently invited applicants for the Selection Posts Phase VI. According to the advertisement, the online applications have begun for many posts on SSC’s official website; ssc.nic.in, ssconline.nic.in. The detailed notification along with the eligibility criteria is mentioned on the site, and the candidates are recommended to go through it before beginning the registration. The SSC recruitment exam will be conducted for a total of 130 different categories through the various regional offices which have over 1,000 vacant posts. As the application procedure has commenced, the students must note that the last date to apply for the job is September 30 till 5:00 pm. “Candidates should go through the Recruitment Notice carefully before applying for the post and ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions like Age-Limit/ Essential Qualifications (EQs)/ Experience/ Category, etc. as indicated,” reads the official notification. The candidates will have to submit an application fee till October 3, 2018. For general category applicants, they will have to pay Rs. 100 and other reserved categories and women candidates will not have to pay any amount. The fee shall be paid separately for each category of the post applied. Candidates must also note that they can apply only for one job. In case if anyone is found applying for multiple positions, their applications will be rejected by the commission.
Meanwhile, SSC is struggling after severe gaps in the examination process were identified in the system. Following question paper leaks ahead of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) and Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2017 exams, the Supreme Court of India stayed the declaration of results. Further, the commission is yet to announce the exam date for SSC CGL Tier 1, 2018.
