New Delhi, Sept 17: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has listed more than 1,000 vacancies on its official portal - ssc.nic.in. Aspirants have been asked to apply for the same at the website before September 30, 2018.

As per the recruitment details shared on the SSC website, the category of posts up for grabs have differing educational requirements. While some posts require a minimum qualification of graduation, for others, Class 12th or 10th pass will be suffice. Meanwhile, technical courses from registered ITI will be given valuation. SSC Recruitment Exam 2018: Last Date for Constable GD Application Extended Till September 30; Apply at ssc.nic.in.

The exams for all courses will be conducted under CBT (Computer-Based Test) mechanism. The candidates will have to appear for a 200-mark exam, which would include 25 questions (for 50 marks) each on General Intelligence, English Language, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude. Each right answer will fetch 2 marks to the candidate, whereas, a wrong answer would attract a negative marking of 0.5.

The exam duration will be 60 minutes for normal candidates, and 80 minutes for those under belonging to visually handicapped or orthopedically handicapped category.
