SSC Recruitment 2018: 123 Posts Added, Last Date for Online Registration Extended till April 13
In a recent notification, the commission has added 123 openings more for the position of Sub-Inspector (Executive) male in Delhi. The commission has also extended last date till April 13, 2018.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has circulated an important notice for the aspirants who seeks to take part in its recruitment procedure. The last date has been extended to April 13 by the commission for the Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub Inspector in the Central Industrial Security Force of India (CISF). SSC earlier had issued a recruitment notification to fill in a total of 1223 vacancies in the above departments. However, in a recent notification, the commission has added 123 openings more for the position of Sub-Inspector (Executive) male in Delhi and the total vacancies now stands at 1,346.
All the aspirants can apply for the above positions till April 13, 2018 5:00 pm. While the examination fee can be paid via offline challan on or before April 16. The candidates can visit the official website, ssc.nic.in to read the notification in detail. But it is also important to note that candidates who have already applied for this examination need not to apply again. How to apply for SSC Recruitment 2018?
1. Visit the official website, ssconline.nic.in.
2. Click the link that states—Click here to apply.
3. Submit the registration form and generate the Registration ID and Password.
4. Fill in all the required details in the application form.
5. Upload a scanned copy of passport size photograph and signature in JPEG format.
6. Pay the application fee to complete the application procedure.
7. Once you are done with the application process, you will receive a confirmation page.
8. Download and take a print out of the same for future references.
The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of computer-based examination—Paper 1 and Paper 2. The commission has already released the examination dates; paper 1 is scheduled to be held on June 4, 2018 to June 10, 2018. The questions will comprise of general intelligence and reasoning, general knowledge, quantitative aptitude and English comprehension. On the other hand, Paper 2 is scheduled for December 1, 2018 and the questions will be based on English language and comprehension. Candidates are also recommended to read the questions carefully before answering them as there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in both the papers.
