Mumbai, April 25: Results of the State Secondary Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams will be declared before June 10. The announcement was made by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) Thursday, while responding to the pleas of parents' associations who wanted the  Board to reveal the date of results declaration in advance.

The Class 10th and 12th results would be declared on the Board's main website for uploading exam scores: maharesults.nic.in. Over 17 lakh students appeared for the SSC examinations held last month. Out of the total 17,00,813 students, 16,41,568 were tested as per the new syllabus, whereas, 59,245 appeared question papers designed as per the od syllabus. This is the last year when the old syllabus was being partially used. For the academic session 2019-20, all students would be tested as per the new syllabus.

MSBSHSE chief Shakuntala Kale  said the results could be declared as early as the end of May, but not later than June 10. Keeping the target, necessary instructions has been issued to all teachers tasked with evaluation, he said.
