The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the revised result for SSC GD Constable 2018-19 Revised Result Declared: Over 5 lakh Candidates Shortlisted for PET and PST, Check Exam Pattern at ssc.nic.in Constable (GD) recruitment exams. Candidates who participated in the first stage CBT exam, are advised to go through the results, available online at ssc.nic.in. The SSC GD recruitment exams are being held for the job openings in Assam Rifles, the notification of which was released last year. The SSC GD constable 2018-19 result was declared on June 20, 2019. However, due to some glitches, the commission decided to release the revised result. Over 5 lakh candidates have been shortlisted for the next stage Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). The selected candidates are advised to further go through the SSC GD constable PET and PST exam pattern before appearing in the next stages of recruitment.

SSC has revised the final answer keys of 13 questions as it came to their notice that there were a few discrepancies in the question items. Through an official notification, it stated, “It came to the notice of the Commission that there were a few discrepancies in the Question Items/ final answer keys of some questions. Therefore, the Commission undertook a comprehensive review of the Question Items/ Final Answer Keys of such questions and revised the final answer keys of 13 questions.”

SSC GD Recruitment 2018-19: PET/ PST Exam Pattern

All candidates who passed the CBE, will now appear in the PET/ PST organised by the commission. Both PET and PST will be conducted at various centres finalised by the CAPFs. For PET, male candidates will have to run for 5 kilometres in 24 minutes, and again girls shall participate in 1.6 kilometres and finish it in eight and a half minutes. Again, for PST, the candidates will have to fulfil the required criteria of height, weight and chest to apply for the medical test.

In the SSC GD revised result, a total of 5,35169 candidates against 5,34,052 had qualified in the Computer Based Examination. They will now participate in the SSC PET and PST exam.
