The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is yet to declare the result for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier 1 exam held on July, 2019. Once declared, candidates will be able to check their SSC CHSL Tier 1 2018-19 result on the official website; ssc.nic.in. No date has officially been confirmed by the commission yet. However, media reports are suggesting that SSC could announce the CHSL Tier 1 result today, September 11, 2019. SSC released the notification for CHSL recruitment last year. More than 29 lakh candidates registered in the CHSL Tier 1 2018 exam from July 1 to 11, 2019. Out of the total applicants, 13.17 lakh candidates appeared in the examination, held at 361 centres. All candidates who clear the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam, will be eligible to appear in the next stage Tier 2 examination that is slated to be held on September 29, 2019. Again those who qualify the Tier 2 exam, will appear in the skill or typing test for final shortlisting of candidates.
SSC CHSL Recruitment 2018-19: Pay Scale
- Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant—Pay Band 1 (Rs 5,200 to 20,200) and Grade Pay: Rs 1,900 (pre-revised)
- Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant—Pay Band 1 (Rs 5200 to 20200), Grade Pay: Rs 2400 (pre-revised)
- Data Entry Operator—Pay Band 1 (Rs 5200 to 20200), Grade Pay: Rs 2400 (pre-revised)
- Data Entry Operator, Grade A—Pay Band 1 (Rs 5200 to 20200), Grade Pay: Rs 2400 (pre-revised)
SSC CHSL Tier 2 Paper will be a descriptive Paper of 100 marks in pen and paper mode. The duration of the exam will be for one hour and 20 minutes compensatory time will be provided to the candidates, eligible for scribes. A candidate will have to score at least 33 percent as a minimum qualifying mark in the Tier 2 exam.
