SSC CHSL Result 2018-19 Declared at ssc.nic.in: 47,606 Candidates Qualified Tier 1 Exam, Here’s What’s Next

About 47,606 candidates qualified the CHSL Tier 1 examinations. They will now appear in the SSC CHSL tier 2 recruitment exam which will be held on September 29, 2019. Normalised scores of the candidates have been used to determine the SSC CHSL merit list and final selection.

After a long wait, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the result for Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier 1 exam. The SSC CHSL result 2018-19 were released online on September 12, late night at the commission’s official website; ssc.nic.in. The list of shortlisted candidates for the next stage of the recruitment process is available on the site. According to the official statistics, 47,606 candidates qualified the CHSL Tier 1 examinations. They will now appear in the SSC CHSL tier 2 recruitment exam which will be held on September 29, 2019. SSC CHSL Result 2018-19 Highlights:

More than 13 lakh candidates appeared in the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam that was conducted from July 1 to July 11. Out of the total candidates, a total of 47,606 qualified for the SSC CHSL Tier 2 examinations. Again, from these total number of qualified candidates, 175 were selected for the posts of DEO, 2,330 for the posts of DEO in C&AG and 45,101 in LDC/ JSA, PA/SA.

What’s Next?

Candidates who qualified the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam, will next appear in the Tier 2 examination, which is scheduled for September 29, 2019. The tier 2 paper will be a descriptive paper for 100 marks in pen and paper mode. Candidates will get one hour and 20 minutes. Those who will pass the Tier 2 examination will appear in the skill or typing test for final shortlisting of the candidates for the available vacancies in SSC.

Note that the minimum qualifying marks in Tier 2 would be 33 percent. Candidates will have to write the answers in Hindi or English. Any answer sheet that includes part written in Hindi and remaining in English will be awarded zero marks.
