The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued an official notification for Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination 2019. It is an intermediate national-level exam which is conducted for recruitment in various central government departments. The commission has invited applications to fill up about 3,259 vacancies are to be filled through this recruitment drive. SSC CHSL Recruitment Exam 2019: Age Limit
The aspirants shall note that they must be at least 18 years of age but not above 27 as on August 1, 2019. Besides, the upper age limit is relaxed for reserved category candidates.
SSC CHSL Recruitment Exam 2019: Vacancy Details
As per the official notification, SSC announced 3,259 vacancies are to be filled through the recruitment drive. The shortlisted candidates will be hired for the posts—LDC, JSA, postal or sorting assistant, Data Entry Operator (DEO) or DEO Grade A. However, the exact number of vacancy for each position will be upload on the SSC website later.
SSC CHSL Recruitment Exam 2019: Education Qualification
For LDC, JSA, PA, SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG); the candidates must have passed the 12th standard or equivalent exam from a recognised board or university. And for DEO in C&AG; candidates should have passed class 12 from Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognised board or equivalent.
SSC CHSL Recruitment 2019: Exam Dates
The SSC CHSL Tier I recruitment exam is scheduled to be conducted from July 1 to Jul 26, 2019, while the Tier II examination will be held on September 29. SSC CHSL Recruitment 2019: Salary Scale
For the LDC and JSA, the selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 5,200 to Rs. 20,200 in addition to grade pay of Rs. 1,900. Again, for PA, SA, the salary is between Rs. 5,200 to Rs. 20,200 in addition to grade pay of Rs. 2,400 and those hired at the post of DEO will get remuneration in the pay scale of Rs. 5,200 to Rs. 20,200 and grade pay of Rs. 2,400.
After the successful completion of SSC CHSL application 2019, the commission will issue the admit card to only those candidates whose application form falls under the eligibility criteria. Shortlisted candidates will next appear in SSC CHSL Tier II, followed by Tier III which is a skill test/ typing test.
