SSC CGL Tier I Examination 2018 Postponed! Fresh Date & Admit Card to Be Released Soon at ssc.nic.in

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed their Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier I exam 2018 according to the "Revised Annual Calendar of Examinations," posted on the official website; ssc.nic.in. However, a fresh date for the same will be announced soon. The SSC CGL Tier I exam was earlier scheduled to be held from July 25 to August 20, 2018. A column under the examination date on the website in front of SSC CGL Tier I exam row reads, "To be notified later (CBE)." On the other hand, according to various media outlets, the admit card for the exam is expected to be uploaded any time from now on the SSC's official websites, ssconline.nic.in, ssc.nic.in.

All the candidates whose applications will fall under the eligibility criteria set by SSC will be invited to sit in the Tier I Computer Based Examination. It is essential for the aspirants to note that the admit cards for the examinations will not be sent by post. The candidates must download the same and keep a print out ready to appear in the competitive exam. This year, SSC CGL began with their online registration process from May 5 and ended on June 5, 2018. Once the admit cards are released, the council is expected to announce the exam dates soon.

Every year, SSC holds CGL examination for Group B and Group C posts in various ministries, departments and organisations under the Government of India. The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Tier I and Tier II followed by Tier III which will be in the descriptive format. Those who will clear the Tier III will have to prepare for the final stage Tier IV which will be a computer-based proficiency test. All the candidates are recommended to keep a tab on the official website of SSC to stay updated with any further notifications.
