SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2018–19 Declared: Staff Selection Commission Releases Scorecard Online at ssc.nic.in, What’s Next?

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Tier 1 result 2018-19 was declared on August 20. About 15,162 qualified for the recruitment examination. Those candidates can now check their scorecard as the commission has uploaded the marks online at the official website; ssc.nic.in. Candidates can check their individual SSC CGL Tier 1 result, the link of which will be active until September 25, 2019. Now the qualified aspirants will next appear in the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam, which is scheduled to begin from September this year.

In the Tier 1 exam, more than 3 lakh candidates appeared out of the 25 lakh, who registered for the examination. SSC released the CGL 2018 notification in May, 2018. The recruitment drive will fill in Group B and Group C posts in various departments of the Government of India. The SSC CGL Tier 1 recruitment exam was conducted in June, 2019 at various centres across the nation.

What’s Next?

The qualified candidates will next appear in the SSC CGL Tier-II exam 2018-19 which is scheduled to be tentatively held between September 11 and September 13. SSC will release the admit cards for the Tier II exam one week prior to the commencement of the examination. SSC CGL Tier-II exam 2019 will consist of four papers with subjects of General Studies, Statistics, Finance and Accounts.

SSC CGL posts include Assistant Accounts Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Inspector of Income Tax, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Sub Inspector and Junior Statistical Officer, among others.
