New Delhi, March 17: Students who have been protesting for more than a week over the alleged SSC CGL paper leak have issued a warning to the central government that if their demand for a CBI inquiry into the leak is not met, they will gherao the parliament. The students have given a 15 day ultimatum to the government to act, failing which they have warned of grave measures.
The SSC CGL job aspirants have been protesting for an independent inquiry into the paper leak saying that their years of hard-work has gone down the drain and that its gross injustice with the aspiring candidates. They have a suspicion that an insider is involved in the leak scam, who should be brought to justice.
Talking to Odishatv, a student expressed his anguish saying, “We are losing our patience. It has been weeks since we have been on dharna but the government has turned a blind eye to our demands. We will no longer tolerate this and ‘halla bol’ against this arrogant Modi government,” said the protesting student.
The SSC aspirants and candidates have been on a protest for 18 days now, and they have been staging a protest at the Staff Selection Commission headquarters at the CGO complex in South Delhi. The students have also been speaking against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government saying that the government in centre is steeped in arrogance and is not willing to help the pained students.
The protesting aspirants had also demanded a stay order on the SSC exams and said that the exams should not be conducted till the CBI investigation is held into the case and a report is submitted.
