The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is at present conducting the exam to hire Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) and Technicians. To what has been considered as the world’s largest recruitment drive, RRB is hosting the exams on phases. According to the notification, the next exams are scheduled to be held on August 29, 30 and 31. The Indian Railways have announced the dates to release the admit cards for the online computer-based test (CBT). It is essential for the candidates to note that, call letters for August 29, 30 and 31 will be available online to download on August 25, 26 and 27 on the official website; indianrailways.gov.inIndian Railways Adopts Strict Measures to Avoid Cheating Menace During ALP & Technician Exams. 

This month, RRB is organising the examinations for the recruitment of ALPs and Technicians. For about 60,000 posts, 47 lakh candidates are participating from across the nation. The Indian Railways are holding the exam in phases and has been releasing the admit cards for the same four days before the exam. Following the tradition, the dates mentioned above for the admit cards have been notified. The first phase of the exams began from August 9 and tests were held on August 13, 14, 17, 20 and 21.

Meanwhile, due to poor condition in Kerala, RRB had to cancel the August 20 exam in the state. The Ministry had decided as soon the situation turns better; they will announce the rescheduling of the exam in which about 27,000 aspirants are speculated to appear. As RRB finishes the CBT for ALPs and Technicians, it will declare the examination dates for Group D 62,907 posts. The exams are to be held in September and are expected to continue for at least 45 days. Hence, the candidates are recommended to keep a tab with RRB’s official website as an update on the same is expected soon.
