RRB Recruitment Admit Card 2018: Download Hall Tickets for ALP & Technician August 20 Exam at indianrailways.gov.in
The Indian Railways is conducting the first stage exam for the available vacancies in 10 phases.
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the admit card for next online Computer Based Test (CBT) of Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) and Technicians. All the candidates who are sitting for RRB ALP 2018 exam scheduled on August 20, can visit the official website; indianrailways.gov.in to download the same. The hall tickets will be available till the exam date for the RRB aspirants. The Indian Railways is conducting the first stage exam for the available vacancies in 10 phases. RRB Group C, ALP and technician exams began on August 9 at various centres across India. It is recorded as the highest recruitment drive ever. Candidates who appeared in the August 17 exam, the admit card was released on August 13. The exams for RRB recruitment 2018 will be continued till August 31. To download the admit card, the candidates will have to enter the registration and their date of birth in the space provided on the website. It is important to take a print out of the same, those without the admit card will not be allowed to enter the examination hall on August 20.
Quoting media reports, in the first stage exam around 1,19,110 candidates out of 1,11,332 appeared for the exam which held in 416 centres across 160 cities of the country. The CBT 2, aptitude test and document verification dates are yet to be announced by RRB. The exams for recruitment in ALP and Technician posts is slated to be held on August 9, 10, 13, 14, 17, 20, 21, 29, 30 and 31, 2018. It is important for the candidates to note that no call letters will be sent to them through e-mail or posts. Around 47 lakh candidates have applied for the examination this year.
Due to such large number, Indian Railways provided special trains to clear the rush of candidates appearing in the RRB ALP and Technician examinations. On the other hand, this year, tech giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is conducting the exam on behalf of RRB; the first time a private company is hosting an exam for a government job. Those who qualify the CBT will have to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) to get recruited as the ALP and Technician in Indian Railway.
