Being the most significant recruitment drive this year, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has once again come up with several posts for candidates who aspire to be a part of the national public career. In another, the Northern Frontier Railway has announced vacancies and invited applicants to fill up for the positions under the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix. All the interested candidates can apply for the posts under sports quota on or before September 10. According to the notification, there are total 21 vacancies, and the distribution for the same is mentioned on its website; indianrailways.gov.in.

For boxing, there are three vacancies, weightlifting 1, cycling 1, table tennis 2, basketball 2, badminton 2, volleyball 1, cricket 1, bodybuilding 1 and basketball 4. Those who have passed 10th or 12th standard can apply for the available vacancies. It is important for the candidates to note that apart from educational qualification, they must have the basic sports norms to apply against the games mentioned above. The minimum age limit stands at 18 to 25 years as a maximum. For candidates under the General and OBC categories, they will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 500 and the reserved category candidates shall pay Rs. 250. The registration process will be completed only after the fee payment. Candidates who get selected for basketball and volleyball will get pay in the level 1 of pay matrix. For rest of the games, candidates will be paid as per the level 2 or 3 of pay matrix under the 7th Pay Commission.
