The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has activated the link for all the aspirants to check their application status for Group C and Group D posts under Centralized Employment Notice CEN 01/2018 and CEN 02/2018. Candidates who have applied for the available vacancies can check their status and find out whether their applications have been accepted or not. The applicants can check their status online by July 20, 2018, on the official website of RRB; indianrailways.gov.in.
Knowing the application status is crucial because only those candidates will be issued with the RRB admit card whose application is accepted. Later, Indian Railways will also release the PDF list of candidates whose forms were not accepted for not meeting the criteria. Quoting media reports, the RRB is expected to release the admit cards by the end of July on its official website. This year, about 1.5 crore candidates applied for over 89,000 posts on Group C and Group D in Indian Railways and the exams of which are to be held from August to September 2018.
RRB released the notification for Group C and D Assistant Loco Pilot, Technicians and Level-I posts. Earlier the examinations for the same were supposed to be conducted in April or May. RRB is yet to announce the examination date for the advertised posts. For the available openings, the candidates will be selected on the basis of a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The questions will be provided in 15 different languages to ensure opportunities for aspirants across India.
