The registration procedure online to apply for over 90,000 vacancies in Indian Railways will end on March 31 at 11:59 pm. Candidates who are interested and visit the official website at indianrailways.gov.in to finish the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) 2018 application. The board will conduct the online examination to hire candidates for its available 90,000 vacancies in the Group C and Group D, and also for another 9,500 openings in the Railway Protection Force. According to media reports, so far more than 2.5 crore aspirants have applied for the available vacancies. Those who are yet to fill in the application should do it as soon as possible as the online windows to apply will close midnight.

The last date for submission of applications online was earlier extended for those who missed getting themselves registered. Here are some important points to keep in mind while applying for RRB Recruitment 2018:
1. For all candidates under general category, the application fee is Rs. 500. While for reserved categories, the fee is Rs. 250.
2. The last date for application fee was March 30, but due to some technical glitches, candidates can now make the payment until 10:00 pm on March 31.
3. Candidates must keep their scanned passport size photograph ready; the size of the image should be 20 to 50 KB in JPEG format.
4. Before beginning with the application procedure, candidates must read the important instructions available on the website; indianrailways.gov.in.
5. Check the information that you have put in the application form are correct before you commence to the payment procedure.
The application process involves three stages—the first stage is registration, second stage is payment of application fee and the final stage is uploading documents and final submission. Candidates would also need to choose the post they are applying for, so read the recruitment advertisement carefully. Aspirants will receive an Admit Card weeks before the examination. The candidates must download and take a print out of the same as it is important to carry to get an entrance in the examination hall.
