The Railway Recruitment Board 2018 has released an official notification for varied vacancies available at the Northern Railways. According to the notice, the Northern Railways are inviting applications to fill in as many as 409 vacancies for various positions. The posts include Station Master, Pointsman, Train Clerks, Station Superintendent and Shunting Master in the railway department. Interested candidates can apply for the above positions by visiting their official website, nr.indianrailways.gov.in. The RRB has announced the available vacancies for those who are interested in working at different positions within the Northern Railway department. The last date to apply for the same is May 14, 2018.

Before applying for the available openings, the candidates are recommended to go through the detailed notification available on the website. The total number of vacancies, age limit, required educational qualification, application fee, salary, scheme of the examination, etc. every detail is provided on the website. Out of the total 409 vacancies, a total of 120 posts are for the station masters, 32 vacancies belong to the post of the station superintendent, 187 vacancies are of the pointsman, 42 shunting master and 28 openings for the train clerks. The application procedure will be conducted in an offline mode. It is important to note that no aspirant should be more than 62 years in age and have retired from the railway jobs but with a minimum of 10 years of experience in any of the above-mentioned fields.

A candidate has to undergo under two stages as per the selection process to apply for the vacancies at Northern Railways. The first stage is an interview and the second being the medical fitness test. The candidates must address the application along with the required documents to the Division Railway Manager (P), Northern Railway, Firozpur before the last date.
