The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) have postponed the online applications for the recruitment of Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) Level 1 posts. According to the earlier notification, the process was slated to begin from February 28, which has now been rescheduled to March 1, 2019. Candidates who are interested in securing railway jobs can start their registrations for the available vacancies from tomorrow on the official website of RRB; rrbcdg.gov.in and other regional sites. The recent postponement notification has been issued in the February 23 to March 1 edition of the employment news. However, no reason behind the reason was made official, but it appears that the RRB NTPC recruitment 2019 date has been postponed because the board can declare the Group D computer-based test (CBT) II exam result today, February 28. RRBs had released job notification for as many as 1,30,000 vacancies in the Indian Railways. The openings were in NTPC, paramilitary and ministerial departments. Along with the commencement of the NTPC recruitment applications, RRB will also release detailed notice for each category in the NTPC along with age limit and other important details. It shall further be noted that after the registration process, RRB will announce the recruitment examination date on its official and regional web portals under the respective Centralised Employment Notice (CEN). Meanwhile, RRB is expected to announce the Group D CBT II 2018-19 results today, February 28. As per earlier updates, the officials reported to publish the scores before March 1, but no date was confirmed as such. Hence, seeing the postponement of the RRB NTPC 2019 online application process, it is speculated that the RRB Group D exam results would release on February 28.
Under the Railway NTPC category, the job notification is for various positions that include junior clerk cum typist, accounts clerk cum typist, trains clerk, commercial cum ticket clerk, traffic assistant, goods guard, senior commercial cum ticket clerk, senior clerk cum typist, junior accountant assistant cum typist, commercial apprentice, station master, etc. The online application fee for general candidates is Rs 500, and for candidates from the reserved category, it is Rs 250.
