There is no sign of RRB NTPC 2019 exam date and admit card. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) was supposed to conduct the first-stage recruitment exam for Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC). The tentative date of RRB NTPC CBT was scheduled to be held between June to September, 2019. And we are in November now. Last month, the recruitment board shared a notification stating that the RRB NTPC first-state CBT 2019 exam has been postponed and the revised schedule will be shared soon on the official website; rrbcdg.gov.in. But the board did not mention the reason behind the delay, and an update is still awaited. According to reports, more than one crore aspirants have applied for the 35,277 posts under RRB NTPC category. As the Indian Railways fail to update the official RRB NTPC recruitment 2019 notification, all those candidates are left in the lurch.

The latest reports are speculating that there could be a significant delay in the RRB NTPC 2019 exam and that it could even be extended till January 2020. However, these are all assumptions, and only RRB will release the confirmed dates. Amidst the speculations, a lot of rumours might surface on social media. Hence, candidates are advised to keep a thorough check on the official as well as regional RRB websites. The last update by the Ministry of Railways read, “It was indicated in the employment notice that the 1st stage computer based test (CBT) is tentatively scheduled between June and September 2019. However, it has been postponed. The revised schedule will be published in the official websites of all RRBs later on. Candidates are advised to visit the official websites of RRBs regularly.” Indian Railways Hit by Unemployment Amid Economic Slowdown? RRB has announced the NTPC vacancies for both graduates and undergraduates. A large number of applications could also be one of the reasons that led to the delay in the release of RRB NTPC admit cards and exam date. The Admit Card link is usually updated four days ahead of the recruitment examination. Meanwhile, the recruitment body has declared the result for RRB JE CBT 2 exam. The zone-wise score sheet is updated in the respective regional websites of RRB.
