The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) seems to be testing the patience of lakh of aspirants who are waiting for their admit cards to appear in the first stage CBT exam. RRB has announced vacancies for Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC), the examinations of which are expected to be conducted at the end of August or the first week of September, 2019. There is no information as yet for the board to announce the RRB NTPC first-stage CBT. Traditionally RRB releases the admit cards four days ahead of the recruitment exam. Candidates are advised to keep a track with the RRB official website; rrbcdg.gov.in and other regional sites to stay updated with the recent notification.

While some candidates are speculating if it is a scam, media reports so far are always informing to expect the hall tickets anytime soon. In fact, an unnamed official told Times Now that there may be a further delay. The same report further stated that there is a probability that RRB would conduct the NTPC exam, only after the ongoing paramedical category and JE second stage CBT. RRB is yet to announce the result for Junior Engineering (JE) the first-stage exam.

RRB has opened the more than 35,000 vacancies in the NTPC cadre. The job positions are both for graduates and undergraduates. Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice, and Station Master Posts are for the graduates. Again, the remaining 10,603 vacancies have been announced for the undergraduates.
