The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has not yet given any updates on the release of admit cards for the first stage Computer Based Test (CBT), leaving the future of lakhs of aspirants at stake. And a recent notification by Indian Railways seems to extend the wait much further. RRB has updated an important exam notification, according to while the board has decided to postpone the RRB NTPC 2019 first stage CBT. The examination has been rescheduled to an undisclosed date. In the notification, the Ministry of Railways wrote, “It was indicated in the employment notice that the 1st stage computer based test (CBT) is tentatively scheduled between June and September 2019. However, it has been postponed. The revised schedule will be published in the official websites of all RRBs later on. Candidates are advised to visit the official websites of RRBs regularly.” The delay has only increased the stress among candidates who have been eagerly waiting to appear in the first stage exam. It is to be noted here that the RRB NTPC 2019 admit card is expected to be released four days ahead of the CBT examination.
Under the RRB NTPC cadre, around 35,000 vacancies have been announced. The job positions are both for graduates and undergraduates, depending upon the categories. The first stage CBT exam 2019 will be of 100 marks and will test candidates on General Awareness, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning.
