RRB Group D Recruitment 2018: New Notification for Station Master, Guard & Other Jobs, Eligible Candidates Can Apply Before July 12

New Delhi, June 18: The South East Central Railway (SECR) has issued a fresh notification, giving an opportunity to railway job aspirants. In its notification, the SECR is offering jobs to aspirants for standing a chance to become a part of SECR zone. According to a recent notification, SECR has announced vacancies for the positions of Station Master, Guard, Porter and other posts.
There are a total of 8 posts for Station Master, 10 posts for Guard, 1 post for Controller, 5 Posts for Porter. Reports inform that the selection of candidates will be based on their performance in Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the recruitment panel of the organization.
Aspirants who are interested and are eligible for these posts can apply for the positions on or before July 12, 2018. Earlier this month, the Indian Railway’s Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) issued a notification in context to the examination dates of the Assistant Loco Pilot, Technician, and Group D posts. It must be noted that the official announcement was made through Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) 01/2018 and CEN 02/2018 advertisements. The following examinations were initially to be held in the month of April or May, earlier this year.
In its mega recruitment drive earlier this year, the Indian Railways had announced over 90,000 job vacancies. These job openings saw a huge response amongst job applicants where over 25 million applications have been received to date. It must be noted that the deadline for the online application of the same was March 31, 2018.
It must be noted that aspirants who have qualified 12th exam under any recognized board or have an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) degree are eligible to apply for Group D vacancies. The Railways has declared a total of 91,307 vacancies for several posts at the Railways.
The age limit specifically for various level of exams was comparatively reduced where in case of Group D exams for general category, the upper age limit has been fixed at 30 years from 28 years whereas for reserved categories there is a relaxation. For the unversed, aspirants appearing for the RRB Group D 2018 has to undergo two stages of examination. The mode of the exam consists of a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by passing a Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
