The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is all set to announce the official result for Group D computer-based test (CBT) 2018-19. After the completion of the Group D CBT recruitment exam 2018, speculations for the results have only raised, with many reports hinting the scores to be published by February end. But no such announcement further increased the stress among the railway candidates. Finally, RRB through its official notice confirmed that RRB Group D results will be published on March 4 that will include the list of shortlisted candidates for the next stage Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Again, the RRB ALP and Technician Exam 2018 CBT II result is expected by the first week of March. The Indian Railways opened vacancies for about 62,907 posts in the Group D cadre for which the recruitment process began in 2018. Above one crore candidates appeared in the RRB Group D CBT which was concluded in December 2018. According to the official notification, for RRB Group D, candidates are required to secure a minimum of 40 per cent marks for General category to qualify in the recruitment examination. Again, the qualifying criteria for OBC, SC and ST or reserved and PwD categories is 30 percent. In case, there is a tie of two or more candidates scoring the same marks; the higher merit position would be awarded to the candidate who is older.

The RRB Group D result should be released any time soon now. Those who surpass the Group D CBT 2018, will next appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Along with the CBT results, it is expected that RRB will also release the Group D PET schedule.
