RRB Assistant Loco Pilot, Technician, Group D Exam Date Updates: Ministry Of Railways Announce Staggering 25 Million Registrations
Earlier this year, the Indian Railways, in its mega recruitment drive, had announced over 90,000 job vacancies, which saw a huge cheer amongst the job applicants.
Mumbai, June 03: The Indian Railway’s Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), in its latest notification, has issued a statement in context to the examination dates of the Assistant Loco Pilot, Technician, and Group D posts. The official announcement was made through Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) 01/2018 and CEN 02/2018 advertisements. The following examinations were initially to be held in the month of April or May, earlier this year.
However, the official statement from the RRBs states that due to the unprecedented response to both the notices, the conduct of Computer Based Tests (CBTs) are still in progress. The official notification reads, ‘due to the unprecedented response of about 2.37 crore applications for both the notifications, the scrutiny of applications and preparations for the conduct of CBT are still in progress’.
There was no mention about the dates being finalised. Nonetheless, it acknowledged the huge response it received and said that the work to finalise the dates is work-in-progress. It also clarified that the CBT schedule for both the notifications (CEN 01/2018 and 02/2018) will be uploaded on the official websites of the participating RRBs as soon as the above-mentioned activities are done over with.
