RRB ALP & Technician Recruitment Exams 2018: Indian Railways Release Group C Admit Cards for Kerala Candidates
The Indian Railways was about to conclude their Group C exams on August 31, but to monstrous flood in Kerala, the board had to extend its examination till September.
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the admit card for the final phase of Group C, Assistant Loco Pilots (ALPs) and Technician exams. All those who are appearing in the September 4 exam, must visit the official website; indianrailways.gov.in to download their call letters. The final phase exam is only for the candidates of the South Indian state students who could not sit in the August 9 exams due to the natural disaster. The Indian Railways is at the final stage of Group C ALP and Technician recruitment exams. As they are conducted in phases, the commission is releasing the respective admit cards four days prior to the exam. Following the tradition, RRB released the hall tickets for September 4 exams. It is important to note that the admit cards will be available for students to download till September 3. RRB began with the first-stage computer-based test from August 9 and scheduled to conclude the same by August 31. But in a major development for the benefits of the flood-hit Kerala candidates, the board had to revise their schedule and add the 11th day in it. PTI reported that centres allotted in Kerala for the RRB ALP and Technician exams were shifted out of the state as rain waters wreaked havoc there. Thousands of candidates are expected to appear in this exam. As the Indian Railways are done with the Group C exams, they will begin with Group D recruitment examination. Although a final date is yet to be confirmed by the board, as of now, RRB notified a tentative date according to which the Group D exams will begin from September 17. The exam city, date and shift details shall be made live ten days before the commencement of CBT.
