The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is done with the first stage computer-based test (CBT) for the recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) and Technicians. Earlier, the board had released the provisional answer keys on September 13, 2018, for all the candidates. The Group C objection tracker link was activated at the same time, and the candidates could object till September 25, 2018, on the official website; rrbcdg.gov.in. At present, the Indian Railway authorities are analysing the objections against the answer keys submitted by the candidates and will gradually prepare the merit list of the selected candidates for the next round. On the basis of RRB ALP 2018 results, more than 9 lakh candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage out of the total 47 lakh who had registered for the Group C exams held in August. The result sheet will display the qualifying status of candidates for the second round of the selection process. As soon as the process of evaluation is over, the officials will declare the result date of CBT. It must be noted that the merit list of the candidates will be determined based on the final answer key. RRB invited eligible aspirants to fill in the vacancies of 26,502 ALP and Technician posts. Recently, RRB had revised the number of openings, and the number has gone up to 64,371. Meanwhile, RRB is conducting the recruitment exams for Group D positions which are scheduled till September 29. The admit card for the first stage CBT has been published online for candidates to download and carry the hard copy to appear in the exam. The duration of Group D exams is of 90 minutes. Candidates need to answer 100 questions comprised in four sections: Mathematics (25 questions), General Intelligence and Reasoning (30 questions), General Science (25 questions), General Awareness and Current Affairs (20 questions).
