RRB Admit Card 2018: Indian Railways Release Hall Tickets for Group C, D (ALP & Technicians) Recruitment Exam; Download Online at indiarail.gov.in

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the admit card for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and technician posts exam which is scheduled to be held from August 9 at various test centres. All the registered candidates are recommended to download their hall tickets from their respective regional website. The call letters will be available for students to download till the exam date. They even download the same from RRB’s official website; indiarail.gov.in. In case if any candidate does not carry the admit card; they will not be allowed to sit for the examination. On August 5, the Indian Railways issued the Group C, D Admit Card 2018. It is important for the aspirants to note that the call letters for the first stage Computer-based test (CBT) recruitment exam will not be sent via email or post.

Once downloaded, the candidates must keep a print out of the RRB Admit Card ready to get an entrance to the examination hall. Candidates without the hard copy will not be allowed to write the recruitment exam. The exam is scheduled to hire over 90,000 eligible candidates for the available vacancies in the Indian Railways. It is stated to be the largest recruitment drive in which about 2.5 crores students have applied. In addition, this would be the first time when a tech giant, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will conduct the recruitment exam on behalf of Indian Railways.

The Admit Card for CEN O1/2018 and CEN 02/2018 will be available for students to download till the exam day. On the other hand, in a major move, RRB even decided to increase the number of vacancies for the posts of ALP and technicians by 100 per cent. Over 60,000 job vacancies for the positions will go up. However, Indian Railways are yet to declare the number officially. Once the registered students clear the August 9 exam, they will have to sit for another exam followed by interviews to get recruited for the available posts.
