New Delhi, April 26: The link to re-update the bank details of applicants who qualify for a refund of their examination fees has been issued by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). The RRB notification says that missing or inaccurate bank account information prevented many applicants' refunds from being processed. Consequently, the opportunity has been provided in order to offer candidates, as a last resort, a link to update their bank information. Applicants are urged to take advantage of this last chance to change their bank account details if they have not yet received their refund.
The RRB stated that email and text messages will be sent to those candidates whose reimbursements have not yet been processed, to the email address and contact number they registered. The candidates who paid their examination fees via Internet Banking, Credit Card, UPI, or Debit Card and chose refunds via the same transaction channel may face problems if their account information has changed or their accounts have been closed. As a result, the bank might not be able to get the data needed to process refunds. Such applicants have the opportunity, via the supplied link, to amend their bank details with the RRB. According to RRB, candidates should confirm that their bank account number and IFSC code are correct before submitting since modifications cannot be made once submitted. For convenience, a direct link to the regional RRB websites is provided. Candidates can use the direct link to visit their regional RRB website. Please take note that the link will be active till May 5, 2024, at 5 pm. Also, each bank account will only be able to receive one refund. Moreover, the claims that are late, inaccurate, or incomplete will be denied.
