RBSE Board Exam 2019 to Begin From March 7; Flying Squads to Keep a Watch on Practical Examinations (Check Schedule)

The board exam season is almost here, and the preparations are in full swing. While almost all the state and central educational boards have released the timetable, there are still a few who are yet to publish the final examination dates. The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has released the Class 12 board exam date sheet 2019 on the official website; rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. According to the timetable, the examinations are going to start from March 7, 2019, and will continue till April 2, 2019. Meanwhile, RBSE is currently conducting the practical exams which will end on February 23.
In 2018, many examination centres, irrespective of any state boards, have reported malpractices among students. The education boards have come up with their respective measures to curb the same. RBSE has warned schools and external examiners going for practical board exams against creating any pressure on students; reported TOI. An official was quoted in the same report as saying, “Previously, there were complaints that schools ask students to bribe external examiners conducting practical examination. There were also cases in which external examiners ask schools to arrange for their food and lodgings along with sightseeing in their district during their stay.” The secretary of RBSE, Meghna Choudhary reported that this is the first time that special flying squads have been arranged to keep vigil on the practical examination in Rajasthan. The RBSE flying squads are the ‘eyes and ears’ of the board, said the Director of Secrecy G.K. Mathur. Hence, it is the prime duty of the officials to conduct the practical exams in schools as per the norms; otherwise, they will have to face some strict action. A control room has also been initiated at the RBSE office, where parents and students are requested to immediately inform if they come across any teacher or examiner seeking bribe.
