The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the details for its Officer Grade B recruitment examinations 2018. All the information including last dates and vacancies are mentioned in the official notification available online at rbi.org.in. The interested candidates are recommended to read the notice carefully and only after knowing the eligibility criteria, should apply for the Officer Grade B posts. According to the released statement, RBI has 166 vacancies for its Officer Grade B and the last date to apply for the same is July 23, 2018. Every year, lakhs of students undergo the recruitment drive, and only a few make it be the part of RBI.

This year, the RBI Grade B Prelims or Tier I exam will be conducted on August 16. Those who qualify in this exam will sit for another exam, Tier II which is scheduled to be held on September 7. It is important to note that the Tier I exams contain objective type multiple choice questions on General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning. The Tier II exams will also be comprised of multiple choice questions and candidates will have to prepare for three papers; English, Economics and Social Issues and another will be an optional subject which one gets to choose from Finance and Management, Economics or statistics.

To sit for the exam, a candidate must be in the age group between 21 to 30 years. The salary for RBI Grade B Officer will be nearly Rs. 67,000 per month along with other benefits. Further, the candidates are suggested to keep a tab on the official website as any update regarding the openings will be published online. After Tier II exams, the shortlisted candidates will sit for the Personal Interview round which carries 50 marks.
