The result for the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Stage-1 has been announced by the department of state education research and training of Rajasthan. The stage-1 examination was conducted on November 5, 2017 and aspirants can check their results provided on the official website ncert.nic.in. The Managing Director of Resonance Mr. RK Verma informed that a total of 265 students have been selected for Stage-2 examination. According to the announcement, Ripudaman Singh and Vedant Sharma from Resonance Udaipur study centre have secured 5th and 9th position respectively. Dhananjay Kejriwal from Resonance Kota study centre have secured 9th position.
Selected candidates will sit for NTSE Stage-2 examination that will take place on May 13, 2018. The National Talent Search Examination is a merit-based scholarship examination for class 10 students. It is conducted in two stages- NTSE Stage-1 and NTSE Stage-2. Students from across the nation can apply for the exam.
Nearly 4,00 students get selected for the second stage of examination from all over India. Out of which, generally 1,000 students will be selected for final scholarship worth Rs. 1,250 per month which is provided to them till class 12. For undergraduates and postgraduates, the amount is Rs. 2000 per month. On the other hand, the amount of scholarship for students pursuing Ph.D. will be fixed in accordance to the norms of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The exam is held every year and aims at encouraging every student who have a special aptitude for Sciences, Mathematics, Social Sciences and, above all, questions based on analytical reasoning.
