The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) released the class 10th merit list on May 8 at their official website, pseb.ac.in. Students will be able to check their PSEB matric results 2018 today. The Punjab Board conducted the class 10 exam from March 12 and continued till March 31. Nearly, 3,68,295 students sat for the board exam out of which only 2,10,034 successfully cleared the exam. As per the rankings, the pass percentage for PSEB class 10 for the academic year 2017-18 stood at 59.47 percent.
The results are expected to be uploaded at 12:00 pm on the official website. PSEB chairman Monohar Kant Kolahia announced the result on May 8, 2018. Other third-party websites will also host the matric exam results 2018; indiaresults.com, examresults.net. Once the results are released online, the Punjab board will announce the supplementary exam dates soon. Reportedly, this year too girls outshine boys with a pass percentage of 70.43 percent. How to check your PSEB class 10 exam results online?
1. Visit the official website; pseb.ac.in.
2. On the homepage, you will get a link that states—PSEB class 10 results 2018. Click that link.
3. You will be directed to a new page.
4. Enter your roll number and other required details as per the admit card, click submit.
5. Your class 10 result will be displayed on the computer screen.
6. Download and take a print out of the same for future references.
It is important for the students to keep in mind that after the results are declared, PSEB will hand over the class 10 mark sheets to the affiliated schools. As the candidates are waiting eagerly to know their results, it is a celebratory time for the toppers in Punjab. Gurpreet Singh who secured 98 percent and topped the Punjab Board class 10 exam is dancing on the beats of dhol with his family as sweets are circulated among the members.
On the other hand, Amanpreet Kaur who scored third rank in sports category with 97.38 percent is all excited and plans to take admission in medical stream. The students are their concerned parents are recommended to keep their calm, as the board has not yet released the marks for class 10th on their website.
