The Osmania University will announce the results for the undergraduate (UG) courses this week. Once declared, all those who have appeared in the degree exams conducted in April and May will be able to check their scores on the University’s official website; osmania.ac.in. Apart from the OU’s site, the results will also be made available on other third-party websites such as manabadi.com, vidyavision.com and school9.com. The Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) for Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Sciences (BSc) and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) examinations this year was conducted from May 18 to June 18. However, the Osmania University has not shared any confirmed date about the same.

All the OU degree students are recommended to keep a tab on the official website of the University to stay updated with the recent announcements. To check the scores online, a result link will be activated on the homepage. Accordingly, the candidates will have to select their course and semester. The BA, BSc and BCom scorecards can only be viewed after submitting the roll number to the University’s website. After the result announcement, the candidates if unhappy with their marks, can apply for re-evaluation for any particular or all subjects in bachelor courses.

Last month, Osmania University had released the results for the March and April 2018 examinations and consequently the re-evaluation result on August 1. Osmania University is a public state university which is located in Hyderabad. Founded in 1918, it became the first Indian University to have Urdu as a medium of instruction. A number of colleges, reportedly four hundred are affiliated to Osmania University.
