The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the admit card for National Eligibility Test (NET) 2019. This year, UGC NET will be conducted by NTA and the entrance exam dates fall on June 20, 21 and June 24 to June 28, 2019, in two shifts. NTA NET 2019 morning shift exams will begin from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the evening shift will start from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. NTA will host the NET 2019 entrance exam in computer-based CBT mode only.
NTA UGC NET 2019 Syllabus
NTA NET 2019 entrance exam will consist of two papers—Paper 1 will be a common paper, and Paper 2 will be subject based. Note that all the subjects including Paper 1 have been already updated by the UGC. The paper is common for all the candidates, and it is compulsory for everyone to qualify. NTA UGC NET 2019 Exam Paper Pattern
UGC NET 2019 will be a computer-based test (CBT), consists of two papers; Paper I and Paper II and it will be conducted in a single session. Candidates will have to appear for both the papers in order to qualify the entrance exam. Both the papers in NTA NET exam will consist of objective-type questions only. All the questions are compulsory to attend and there will be no negative marking in NTA NET 2019 exam.
NTA first conducted the UGC NET 2019 in December where about 65.3 percent candidates appeared in the exam on day one, and 72.8 percent aspirants appeared on day two. The UGC NET 2019 exam for June session will be conducted in 84 subjects at 91 selected cities across the nation. Those who qualify the entrance exam will be eligible for Assistant Professor Post only or Junior Research Fellowship or both.
