New Delhi, May 4: NTA NEET 2019, the entrance examination for admission to MBBS and BDS medical courses will take place on May 5, Sunday. The examination will be conducted at centres across India. Except for AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry Institute, NEET 2019 score is considered for admission in all other medical institutes and courses in India. The students appearing for the exams can download their admit cards from the website ntaneet.nic.in. The students must note down that they will not be allowed inside the examination hall without the hall tickets. Over 15.19 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the exams. Below Are the 10 Things to Keep in Mind For Students Appearing in NEET 2019.

1. The dress code mentions that students must wear half sleeve clothes that they feel comfortable in. The footwear has to be of minimum or moderate heels. Shoes will not be allowed. Students cannot carry rings, earring, nose pin, chain, necklace, batch, bracelet, and any other accessories not related to the exams with them.

2. Muslim girl students and Sikh students will be allowed to appear for the exam keeping their religious faith in mind.

3. The reporting for NEET exam is 12 PM. The students have to reach the examination hall at or before 12 PM.

4. The closing time of the gates is 1.30 PM. No person or student will be allowed inside the examination gates after 1.30 PM.

5. Students must ensure that they have pasted a passport size photograph on the admit card and signed it.

6. The students also have to carry a passport size photograph with them. One of the photos will be stuck on the attendance sheet.

7. The students have to carry an original ID proof with them to the examination centre.

8. The students cannot carry mobile handsets and any other electrical appliances with them.

9. If a student is a diabetes patient or diabetic, that student can carry sugar tablets or medicine. Transparent bottle can also be carried.

10. The examination will be of 720 marks. The pattern of the exam is online. The total number of questions asked in the paper will be 180. The total number of marks allotted is 720, as mentioned earlier. The duration of the paper is 3 hours.
