From 2019, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) on behalf of the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). In a recent notification, NCHMCT has also tentatively announced that the exam for the upcoming session would be conducted on April 27, 2019, in 33 or more cities. Besides, the application process for NCHMCT JEE 2019 will begin from January 15. There have been several changes this year in NCHMCT. With the newly conducting body, NTA, the entrance exam will be in an online mode. However, the revisions are not going to affect the examination pattern or syllabus. So far, both stands the same. NCHMCT JEE 2019 Applications

The interested candidates can fill the applications in online mode only. To fill in the form, the students will have to visit the official websites; nchm.nic.in, nta.ac.in. They will have to register first and then proceed to fill in the details in the NCHMCT JEE 2019 applications. The application forms consist of three major steps which include personal information, education qualification, communication details, etc. The final step would be to pay the application fee.

NCHMCT JEE 2019 Syllabus

NCHMCT JEE syllabus consists of 5 subjects— Numerical Ability, and Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, English Language, Aptitude for Service Sector. MBBS Curriculum Revised After 21 Years! NCHMCT JEE 2019 Exam Pattern

NCHMCT JEE is of three hours duration. All the candidates will have to report at their respective exam centre at least an hour before the beginning of the examination. The questions for the test will be available in both English and Hindi language. Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude will consist of 30 questions, Reasoning and Logical Deduction will have 30 questions, General Knowledge and Current Affairs will have 30 questions, English consist of 60 questions and Aptitude for Service Sector will have 50 questions which sum up to a 200 marks paper. For every correct answer, the candidates will be awarded one mark. But there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for an incorrect answer.

NCHMCT JEE is conducted for providing admissions to above 63 IHMs for a three years course in B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration Programme. To apply for the exams, the candidates must qualify 10+2 exams.
