NIFT 2018 Result Declared, Check The Scorecard & Marksheet at nift.ac.in

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has declared the results at nift.ac.in for the most coveted entrance test that was held on January 21, 2018. Candidates who appeared for the written examination can visit the official website of NIFT to check their scorecard and marksheet. The test is conducted every year by the institute to test the fashion knowledge, skill and aptitude of the candidates for the various programme they opted. NIFT results is for students who seek to take admission to the available 2370 seats in Bachelor of Designs (B.Des), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech) at various NIFT campuses in Chennai, New Delhi, Shillong, Gandhinagar, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Kangra, Bhubaneshwar, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kannur, Raebareli, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Patna and Srinagar.
The exam is based on General Ability Test (GAT) and Creative Ability Test (CAT) and it does not have any negative marking for a wrong answer. NIFT gives 50 percent weightage to CAT, 30 percent weightage to GAT and 20 percent weightage to the situation test for admissions to the bachelor of design courses. Here are the steps to check NIFT 2018 Scorecard:
1. Visit the official website, nift.ac.in.
2. Click the link that states—Result of Written Test held on 21st, 2018.
3. Enter your roll number, date of birth and application number (any two) and submit.
4. Your result will be displayed on the computer screen.
5. Download and if require take a print out of the same for future references.
Qualified students will now get ready for the group discussion and interview to get admission. The dates for the above will be updated soon on the website of NIFT. Reports are doing rounds that the situation test/ group discussion/ interview will be held in April to May 2018. The final result will be declared online possibly by the end of May or June, 2o18 followed by the counselling.
