New Delhi, Aug 21: The National Testing Agency on Tuesday announced the exam schedule and result dates of examinations which will be conducted from December 2018 to May 2019. The list of competitive exams whose dates have been released include NEET, UGC NET, JEE Main, CMAT and GPAT.
As per the new schedule, UGC-NET candidates could register online between September 1-30. The admission card will be issued on November 19, and the exams will be held between December 9-23. The results will be declared on January 10, 2019.
Similarly, the candidates who will appear in the JEE Main-I exams will have to apply between September 1-30. The admit cards will be issued on December 17, 2018 and the exams will be held between January 6 and 20. According to the NTA, the results will be declared on January 31, 2019.
The JEE Main-II exams will be held next year, between April 6 and April 20. The registration will begin from February 8. The last date to apply will be March 7. The results are scheduled to be declared on April 30, 2019.
Both JEE Main-I and Main-II will be a computer-based exam, as announced by the NTA earlier.
The NEET (UG) exam, however, will be conducted on a pen-and-paper basis, as recommended earlier by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The registration for NEET will be begin on November 1 and end on November 30. The admit card will be issued online on April 15 next year. The examination, across the nation, will be held on May 5, 2019 and the results will be out on June 5, 2019.
The CMAT and GPAT, both computer-based exams, will be held on January 28, 2019. The registration will have to be completed this year, between November 1 and 30. The admit cards could be downloaded on January 7 next year. The results will be declared on February 10, 2019.
