Mumbai, July 20: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 results for all the students city and centre-wise on Saturday, July 20. The candidates who appeared for NEET UG 2024 can check their city and centre-wise results on the official website at exams.nta.ac.in. The NEET scorecard will include crucial details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, application number, category, overall score, percentile score, category rank, qualifying status, and All India Rank. This year, the NEET UG examination was conducted on May 5 across 4,750 centers, with approximately 24 lakh candidates appearing. The initial results were announced on June 4, 2024. A re-examination was held on June 23 for affected candidates, with those results announced on June 30, 2024. A total of 1,563 candidates participated in the re-exam. How to Check NEET UG Result 2024:
- Visit the official website of NTA NEET UG website at exams,nta.ac.in.
- Click on NEET city, centre-wise results link available on the home page.
- A new page will open where candidates will have to select the state and centre.
- Enter the credentials and hit submit.
- The result will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and take a printout for future use.
In a significant directive, the Supreme Court instructed the National Testing Agency (NTA) to release the NEET UG results by July 20, 12 noon. The bench, led by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud and Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra, mandated that the results be published on the NTA’s website, ensuring students’ marks are displayed without revealing their identities. Additionally, the results are to be published separately by city and centre.
