Mumbai, July 6: The NEET UG counselling for 2024 admissions has been deferred until further notice. Initially scheduled to commence on July 6, the all-India quota (AIQ) seat counselling for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 is now on hold. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) have yet to announce new dates.

Despite the Supreme Court’s earlier refusal to delay the NEET UG counselling, pleas related to the matter are set to be heard on July 8. The NEET UG counselling process includes multiple rounds, such as stray vacancy and mop-up rounds. Qualified students will need to register, pay fees, fill and lock choices, upload documents, and report in person to the allotted institutes. NEET-UG 2024 Counselling Likely To Begin at June End.

How To Check Schedule and Apply on mcc.nic.in

  • Visit the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.
  • Click on the UG counselling page
  • Once opened, click on the the NEET UG counselling schedule provided below the “services/Schedule” tab on the UG Counselling page
  • Apply for online counselling
  • Register to get access to login details
  • Fill out the application form along with documents
  • Pay the application fee
  • Submit

  • Aadhaar or PAN card
  • Original and attested copies of the Class 12 mark sheet and certificate

  • SC/ST/OBC categories: 163-129

The NEET UG counselling under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) includes seats at government colleges, central and deemed universities, seats reserved for children of Insured Persons (IP quota) in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) medical colleges, and seats available at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune.
