Mumbai, September 30: In what can be seen as good news for hundreds and lakhs of students, the NEET PG cut-off was set to zero for all categories after the Union Health Ministry's approval. Following the decision, the NEET PG 2023 counselling for admissions to MD, MDS, and PG medical courses is in full swing. A number of states, including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh, have announced a revised schedule for counselling, thus allowing all NEET PG exam applicants to participate in the counselling process.
It must be noted that the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) had to reopen the registration window for NEET PG round 3 counselling after the Union Health Ministry approved the cut-off reduction. However, after many delays, the NEET PG round 3 allotment result for 2023 was released on the MCC's official website, mcc.nic.in. The NEET PG round 3 results saw 8,191 fresh allotments among 33,641 candidates who appeared for the NEET PG 2023 examination. The Supreme Court granted the National Medical Commission (NMC) a one-time extension until October 10 to admit students to PG medical courses.

Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2023
The CET Cell of Maharashtra began the registration process for the Maharashtra NEET PG round 3 on September 18. However, due to the MCC's delay, the registration period was extended by five days. Candidates can complete the online registration and pay the application fee by October 2. As per the original plan, the counselling was supposed to end today, September 30, but it will now conclude on October 10.
Madhya Pradesh NEET PG Counselling 2023
The Department of Medical Education of Madhya Pradesh will likely release the revised mop-up merit list soon. For candidates who are eligible, choice filling and choice locking will be available today, September 30. The Madhya Pradesh mop-up round seat allotment result, which was supposed to be released on September 22, has now been postponed to October 5. Rajasthan NEET PG Counselling 2023
The last date to submit the Rajasthan NEET PG counselling 2023 registration forms ended on Friday, September 29. Candidates who were eligible candidates had to pay the non-refundable application fee by September 29. It must be noted that the provisional merit list will be published on the official website at rajpgneet2023.com by today, September 30.
Bihar NEET PG Counselling 2023
Candidates who are eligible for the Bihar NEET PG counselling 2023 under the new cut-off must register by Sunday, October 1. It must be noted that choices made by candidates who had previously registered will be considered null and void. The merit list and rank card are likely to be available on October 4 at the official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. UP NEET PG Counselling 2023
The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh, also adjusted its counselling schedule after the NEET PG cut-off was set to zero for all categories. Candidates were able to apply for the UP NEET PG counselling 2023 mop-up round until September 29. As per the revised schedule, the UP NEET PG mop-up round seat allotment result will likely be declared on October 5. Following this, candidates can download the allotment order and report it to the assigned colleges between October 6 and 10.
"It is for the information to candidates that the qualifying percentile for PG Courses (Medical/ Dental) for NEET PG counselling 2023 has been reduced to 'zero' across all categories by MoHFW," the notice issued by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) read.
