The medical aspirants from across the nation will appear in one of the most coveted entrance exams-- National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for the Post Graduate (PG) courses today, January 6, 2019. The single-window online entrance exam will be conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE) at various test centres. NBE will conduct NEET PG at 148 test centres for the upcoming academic session. There are a lot of stringent measures to be followed on the exam day for a smooth holding of the examination, and the aspirants are advised to be cooperative with the authorities. Key Points for NEET 2019 PG Exam Day
1. Students shall report the NEET PG 2019 exam venue by 1:30 pm and the entry closes at 3:00 pm.
2. Carry a print out of the NEET-PG Admit Card 2019.
3. Any one of the authorised photo IDs—PAN, driving license, voter ID, passport and Aadhaar card with photograph.
4. A photocopy of SMC or MCI registration certificate of which will be retained by the examiner.
5. Late entry to the examination premises will not be entertained under any circumstance.
6. Security guards shall frisk all the aspirants, and biometric information will be captured.
7. Do not carry any stationary item, electronic device, ornaments, eatables or other unfair means to hide the above at the exam hall.
8. Note that the test centres will not have any arrangements to keep any articles or items belonging to the candidates.
9. Keep your admit card and photo identification throughout the conduct of the examination.
NEET PG 2019 is a computer-based test which will have 300 multiple choice questions from the MBBS curriculum followed at the nation’s medical colleges. For each correct answer, you will be awarded four marks, and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
