NEET PG 2019 Exam Date Announced! NBE to Conduct Entrance Exam on January 6; Check Schedule at natboard.edu.in

The information brochure containing the eligibility criteria, fee schedule and other relevant details for NEET PG 2019 will be released in the next month, October.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the exam date for the upcoming National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduates (NEET-PG) 2019. According to the recent notification, the forthcoming multiple-choice questions (MCQ) based examinations will be conducted in a single session. All the candidates can read the public notice at natboard.edu.in to confirm the same. Besides, the conducting body has further stated that the information brochure containing the eligibility criteria, fee schedule and other relevant details for NEET PG 2019 will be released in the next month, October. On the other hand, NBE has also mentioned the exam date for other competitive entrance exams such as NEET-MDS, FMGE, DNB-PDCET which is scheduled to begin from December this year. NEET, UGC NET, JEE Main, CMAT and GPAT: NTA Releases Exam Schedule & Result Dates for 2018-19. 

The NEET MDS; for admissions to Post Graduate Dental courses will be held on December 14, 2018, on a single day in a single session. The online registration for the medical entrance exams is speculated to start by the last week of October 2018. For NEET PG candidates, they will be able to fill in the application through online mode only, neetpg.nbe.edu.in. General category applicants will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 3,750 and for SC/ ST/ PWD/ PH category, they need to pay Rs. 2,750. Meanwhile, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam schedule and result dates for NEET-UG according to which, the exam is slated to be held on May 5, 2019. NEET, JEE 2019: NTA Announces Each Candidate to Get Different Question Paper During the Entrance Exam. 

NEET PG is a Computer Based Test (CBT) which is comprised of 300 multiple choice questions from the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) curriculum followed at medical colleges across India. For each correct answer, a student will score four marks, followed by negative markings if any answer is wrong. Hence, for an incorrect answer, one mark shall be deducted. NEET PG is a national level entrance exam which is conducted by NBE every year for admission in Doctor of Medicine (MD)/ Master of Science (MS)/ PG diploma programs in the medical colleges.
