NEET PG 2019 Admit Card Released Online at nbe.edu.in; Here’s MDS Exam Paper Pattern & Subject-Wise Distribution of Marks

The National Board of Examination (NBE) has released the admit card for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Post Graduate (PG) exam 2019. Candidates who have successfully applied for the NEET PG 2019 exam shall visit the official website; nbe.edu.in to download the call letters for the MDS exam. It must be noted that without the admit cards, the candidates will not be allowed to sit for the exam. The provisionally eligible candidates must take a note that their admit cards will be issued on December 30. Besides, the cut off for the completion of the internship to be eligible for the NEET PG 2019 will be released on March 31, according to the official release. To download the admit cards, the candidates will have to enter their user id and password. The hall tickets will contain details related to the exam date, centre and timings. NEET PG MDS Exam 2019 Paper Pattern

NBE will conduct the NEET PG exam 2019 on January 6. The exam will be based on multiple choice-based questions (MCQ) with 15 different topics. The medium of question paper will be English. For all correct answer, the candidates will secure four marks and one mark will be deducted for an incorrect response. Students will get 3 hours and 30 minutes to answer the 1200 marks question paper.

NEET PG 2019 Subject-Wise Distribution of Marks

The candidates appearing in the NEET PG 2019 exam should only follow the syllabus formulated in their graduate MBBS programme notified by the Medical Council of India. NEET PG question paper will have three different sections—Part A, B and C. In Part A, the marks allocated in Biochemistry is 16, and 17 each for Anatomy and Physiology. In Part B, Microbiology and Pharmacology will be of 20 marks each, Pathology, it is 25, Social and Preventive Medicine it is 25, and Forensic Medicine will be of 10 marks. In Part C, General Medicine including Dermatology & Venereology & Psychiatry will have 45 questions, 10 marks ENT questions, 45 marks is allotted for General Surgery including Orthopaedics, Anaesthesia & Radiodiagnosis, 30 marks for Obstetrics and Gynaecology, 10 marks each for Paediatrics and Ophthalmology.

This year, NBE has scheduled the NEET PG 2019 exam on a single day in a single session. Candidates will have to accept a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before they begin with their exam. Further, they will have the benefit of Demo Test 15 minutes before the examination which will give them a fair idea about the structure of NEET PG exam pattern.
