Bhubaneshwar, May 4: The NTA (National Testing Agency) has postponed the date of the national medical entrance exam, NEET in Odisha. An official communique said, "NEET exam scheduled for 5th May in Odisha postponed as per the request of State Govt working on relief and rehabilitation work in the wake of #FaniCyclone. Odisha has seven NEET exam centres for this year. The NEET 2019 examination centres are Balasore/Baleswar (3602), Angul (3601), Behrampur (3603), Cuttack (3605), Bhubaneshwar (3604), Sambalpur (3607), and Rourkela (3606).

On May 3, the day when the Cyclone Fani made landfall in Odisha, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) cancelled the postgraduate entrance exam and scheduled it for May 5. As per the AIIMS statement, the examination in Bhubaneswar centre has been postponed until further notice.

Meanwhile, candidates appearing for NEET are advised to download the revised NEET admit card. The revised admit card will carry details of the 2019 NEET exam centres, address and the code.
