NEET 2019 Online Registration Begins From Today at ntaneet.nic.in; Know Eligibility & Documents Required to Apply
From 2019, newly NTA will host NEET in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited candidates to fill in the application forms for the upcoming National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET). Students who are willing to appear in the exam must visit the official website; ntaneet.nic.in to begin with the registrations. The last date to submit the applications is November 30, 2018. However, candidates must not delay in the process to avoid the last-minute hurry. So far, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was conducting the entrance exam for medical courses. But from 2019, newly NTA will host NEET in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. There was no change in the mode of exam. Just like the previous year, NEET 2019 will be a single exam in the pen-paper mode. After the successful completion of the applications, NTA will release the admit cards from April 15, 2019, onwards and the exam is set to be held on May 5. NEET 2019 Eligibility
To apply for NEET 2019, a candidate should have cleared the class 12 exam. Students who are appearing in the 12th board exam can also participate in it. The age limit as set by NTA is minimum 17 years and maximum 25 years. A student with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (which includes practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English are eligible to apply.
Document Required for NEET 2019 Application
1. Class 10 mark sheet.
2. Class 12 mark sheet.
3. A scanned copy of the candidate’s passport size photograph.
4. A scanned copy of candidate’s signature.
5. Valid ID proof like Aadhaar card or Voter ID card.
The candidates must note that Aadhaar card is not mandatory for NEET 2019 applications. NEET is a three-hour long exam, and the questions are divided among three sections—Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Out of the total 180 questions, 90 is from Biology, 45 each from Physics and Chemistry. Further, NTA has also published lectures online prepared by IIT Professors for students’ preparation.
