Mumbai, May 30: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday released the answer key of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Examinations (NEET), which will determine the fate of over 15 lakh students who appeared for the exam. The NEET results will hold key to the prospects of candidates seeking admission in top medical colleges.

Although the unofficial answer keys have been released by several coaching institutes, the official answer key holds final authority. Candidates can now self-evaluate their scores by checking the answer keys online at ntaneet.nic.inNEET PG Revised Exam Result 2019 Declared Online at nbe.edu.in; What’s Next?

If any candidate has objection related to the answer key, he/she could file an application online. For every question that is challenged and it's re-evaluation sought, the applicant will have to  pay Rs 1,000. The amount would be refunded if his objection is found to be legitimate.

The final NEET results are expected to be declared by June 5. The counselling for MBBS and BDS courses would begin in the second week of June. Out of the over 15 lakh students who appeared for the tests, 6,771 will be selected for MBBS and 27,148 for BDS seats.

Candidates are recommended to download the copy of their online results at the earliest once they are declared. The soft copy remains available on the NTA website for a period of 60 days.
