Mumbai University Online Admission 2020 for Undergraduate Degree Courses to Start on July 24, Admission Forms to Be Available Between July 24 to August 4

According to reports, the Mumbai University said that the forms for the Bachelors courses will be available online in all affiliated colleges and university sub-campuses in the online format. The forms can be downloaded and can be filled on the websites.

Mumbai, July 22: The University of Mumbai (MU) on Tuesday released a timetable for online admissions to undergraduate degree (Bachelors) courses and stated that the admission forms will be available between July 24 to August 4. According to reports, the Mumbai University said that the forms for the Bachelors courses will be available online in all affiliated colleges and university sub-campuses in the online format. The forms can be downloaded and can be filled on the websites. At the time of admission, students will have to attach pre-admission online forms, which will be available on the MU website from July 22 to August 4.

The order stated that the submission of admission forms, along with a copy of the pre-admission online forms, can be done between July 27 and August 4. Reports inform that the first merit list will be displayed on August 4 at 7 pm, the second merit on August 10, and the third on August 17. Mumbai University Launches Helpline Number, Email for Queries Related to Exams and Admission Amid COVID-19 Crisis.

The State Board has urged all the colleges to avoid physical presence of students for admission process. According to reports, several remote areas where online application is not possible, colleges have been asked to switch to the offline process in a bid to adhere to state government norms on COVID-19.

It must be noted that students who have recently cleared their Class XII exams are yet to receive hard copies of their marksheets. It is yet to be decided how the physical copies of marksheets will reach the students. Reports inform that the deputy director of education also announced a timetable for online central admission process (CAP) for First Year Junior College (FYJC) admissions.
