The varsity confirmed about the first enrolment admission procedure on May 28, via reports, followed by tentative dates of the release of merit list.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declared the class 12 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) result, 2019 on May 28. As the scores are out, state board students will now gear up to get admission in top colleges to pursue higher studies. Mumbai University will start the admission process for First Year courses from today, May 29. The link for pre-admission online enrolment to the MU colleges will be activated on the official website; mum.digitaluniversity.ac. On May 26, Mumbai University announced the results for semester six of third-year BCom (TYBCom), in which 23,678 students passed. And it created a history for the University to announce the results on time, the examination of which took place between April 3 and April 25. Now the varsity is all slated to host the admission process for the coveted graduate courses. The enrolment procedure will continue till June 7, followed by submission of forms, which will continue till June 14. - Online Admission: May 29 to June 7
- Last Date to Submit Forms: June 13
- First Merit List: June 13
- Verification of Documents: June 14
- Payment of Fee: June 15 to June 17
- Second Merit List: June 17
- Third Merit List: June 20

The Maharashtra board 12th HSC result pass percentage this year stood at 8588%. Science stream secured a passing percentile of 92.04%, Arts 76.28% and Commerce 88.28%. Konkan district ranked first, with a maximum number of students, 93.30% passing the 12th board examination. Students are advised to keep a tab with the Mumbai University web portal to stay updated with the admission process detail.
